the early 1900’s Sam Tuttle of
Kentucky had a stallion named
Old Tobe and produced offspring for riders of all levels. The Rocky
Mountain
horse has Spanish roots and is related to the Tennessee Walking Horse and
the Saddlebred. A studbook was formed in 1986 to form the breed.
