Description: The Italian Spinone is a strong muscular dog, with a long face and human-like eyes. Their waterproof coats protect them from cold and water. The Italian Spinone is in the Sporting group.

Coat: Italian Spinones are said to groom themselves like cats. They

require weekly brushings and dead hairs should be hand stripped to neaten the coat.

Temperament: Italian Spinones are intelligent and easy going. Highly patient this breed loves all children and likes the company of other dogs as well. Italian Spinones are somewhat stubborn and like to do things in a slow and steady kind of way.

Health Concerns: The Italian Spinone is prone to several health problems including hip dysplacia, bloat, Cerebellar Ataxia, or abnormal gait originating from a problem in a part of the brain.

Life Expectancy: The life expectancy of the Italian Spinone is about 12 or more years.
