Country of Origin: The Dogo Argentino originated
in Argentina.

Weight: 80-100 pounds (36-45kg)
Description: This large mastiff type breed has a
signature white coat and is both muscular and graceful. Dogo
Argentinos have massive heads and docked ears. They have a
long tail that is never carried up and loose skin on their
necks to protect them while hunting.
Colors: The Dogo Argentino has a white coat.

Coat: Because of its white color this
breed is more sensitive to the sun and should be provided
with ample shade. As well, special shampoo intended for
white-coated dogs should be used on the Dogo Argentino.
Otherwise the Dogo Argentino is a clean dog that requires
little to no grooming. This breed is an average shedder and
has no dog odor.
Temperament: Intelligent and highly trainable the
dogo argentino makes an excellent family pet. Dogo
Argentinos love lounging on the family couch and can sit
there quietly for hours. Dogo argentinos enjoy obedience
training and respond well to positive enforcement. Dogo Argentinos are bred to be superior
hunting dogs. Dogo Argentinos love to kiss and cuddle with
their families.
