Description: This compact little dog makes an excellent lap dog. They are most easily recognized by their short and broad wrinkled nose. The American Lo-Sze Pugg's Tail curls inwards over the back. The American Lo-Sze Pugg is in the Toy group.

Colors: The American Lo-Sze can be a variety of colors and color combinations including fawn, black, white either solid or with markings.

Coat: The soft short coat of the American Lo-Sze Pugg requires gentle brushing. This breed is an average shedder.

Temperament: Intelligent and highly trainable, American Puggs are excellent with children but may be reserved around strangers. American Lo-Sze Puggs are used as therapy dogs due to their size and sweet nature.

Health Concerns: American Puggs are prone to overheating and breathing problems due to their short muzzles. They are also susceptible to Lacrimal Duct Atresia, Cleft Palate, Inadequate Blinking, Patellar Luxation, Umbilical Hernia and Stenotic Nares.
